This is a story of cycles. Cycles of home. Cycles of family. Cycles of religion. After all, those were the only things on my parents’ minds as they rebuilt their lives in the United States. Growing up, the place I called home was always very different from what my parents called home. Mine was in the U.S., and theirs was in Mexico. Yet, family and God were the priority in both homes. The walls of the home hold the most private parts of the family, and with this work, I aim to shed some light on the fears, the love, and the cycles that occur within them.
